The Princess, The Minstrel, and the Rabid Bat

An original folk tale adventure designed to be performed in parks across Chicago, presented in partnership with Night Out In the Parks.

About the show

This adventure story begins with a familiar premise: a Princess who is fleeing the castle in disguise, when she crosses paths with three minstrels on the road for adventure. Their stories interweave with those of a hypnotized bandit, a desperate palace guard, and the mysterious masked figure known only as the Rabid Bat. This new folk tale combines live music, swordplay, and magic to spin an enchanting hour of theatre out of a summer night. Bringing a picnic and lawn chairs is highly encouraged!
