32nd Ward Alderman Scott Waguespack is hosting an open house designed to display the revised plans for the proposed mixed use development at the Mega Mall site. The current plan includes 220 residential apartment units and retail space for a grocery store, health club, and a variety of smaller retail uses. The 2500 North Milwaukee property is currently zoned C2-2. The proposed project would require a rezoning to a Planned Unit Development required by the City of Chicago. The purpose of this open house is to allow nearby residents to see the revised plans, ask questions, and express any concerns that may help to improve the proposed project. Representatives for the developer and the Alderman’s office will be present to answer questions.
