The boulders are in place, the sod is set, the trees are putting down roots – Park 567 (also known as Milwaukee/Leavitt) is officially open!

Park 567 features limestone boulders for use as seating or tables, with a central grassy area for recreation. A winding path will link it to the Bloomingdale Trail, currently under construction.

The Trust for Public Land raised the funds to create Park 567, with generous support from MetLife Foundation and The Stenning on Lake Geneva Conservancy Society, and managed the park’s design and development in partnership with the Chicago Park District.
