Many residents are contacting us about snow removal from their alleys. The City does not plow alleys because doing so would cause snow to pile up in front of people’s garages. Trucks will be driving through the alleys to help create tracks that will improve access. The City does have a limited number of high lifts that can assist in removing snow from areas that are particularly snowed in, but it will be some time before all such problem areas are addressed.

City crews will be working throughout the week to finishing plowing and resume regular garbage collection.

We will provide additional updates as soon as information becomes available. Again, thank you for your patience. If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Currently, we have one spreader and one plow working on side streets. Two high lifts and four dumpsters are working on removing snow from alleys.  Garbage collection is also back on its regular schedule.  If trucks cannot flatten out the snow in the alleys, high lifts will be sent to assist.  Blue carts are not being picked up at the moment.

Parking Enforcement

Parking enforcement in the neighborhoods resumed today at morning at 9 a.m.

The Department of Revenue has informed us that, as of right now, they will not be enforcing the two inch snow ban.
