Driveways
All driveways in Chicago must be permitted by the Department of Transportation. Residential buildings with four and fewer units are able to apply for the Residential Driveway Permit, while commercial establishments and larger residential complexes can apply using the Commercial Driveway Permit Application.
Please note that buildings with alley access should avoid installing driveways.
