The 2014 Shared Cost Sidewalk Program opens to new applicants January 1, 2014 through the City’s 311 system (phone or web). The Chicago Department of Transportation has announced that the program will close to new applicants at 12:01 AM January 3rd. Owner information and the property address must be provided at the time of request.  Seniors 65 years or older may qualify for a discount. 

Online WEB applications are strongly encouraged to eliminate long wait times callers may experience dialing 311.
