The exemptions application will close on Friday, August 4. View exemption eligibility, documentation required, and apply online at cookcountyassessor.com/exemptions. Homeowners are strongly encouraged to apply online so that there is a digital record of their application. Applying online allows Assessor staff to easily locate the application, provide a status update, and notify of missing documents needed to complete the application.
