Watering Trees During Drought

Writer's picture: Scott WaguespackScott Waguespack

There's a drought in Chicago and newly planted trees desperately need your help (and water) to survive. Please water all trees planted within the last three years to help them get established and survive the drought. Each week, provide 3-4 five-gallon buckets of water or let a hose trickle for 15 minutes. Trees help us stay cool, mitigate the impact of climate change and make our community more vibrant.
