Pulaski Park
Featuring a large mural adorned field house and outdoor pool, Pulaski Park was among the first recreational and social spaces of its design in 1912. Architect William Carbys Zimmerman modeled the three-story brick structure to emulate Eastern European architecture familiar to the immigrant community, and the park pays tribute to Casimer Pulaski (c. 1748-1779) a Polish war hero who fought for the American cause in the Revolutionary War.
